Beautiful day and a rest and laundry day!

For those not familiar with these Rallies,  We have 300 members attending from all over the US.  A group constructs routes to appeal to everyone that are in map form and the GPS, GPX format for downloading into a GPS.  There are 14 road routes ranging from 49 miles to 325 miles that take in various sites in the area.  These routes include stopping places for lunch and interesting things to see.  You can join a scheduled ride with a leader or just take the routes and go it alone.

There are also 7 dual sport routes.  These are for the dirt bikes or dual sport bikes that include a good bit of dirt/gravel trails or forest service roads.  These routes are shorter than the paved routes at around 100-150 miles.  The route sheet tells you if it is easy, moderate or challenging.  People start out of here at 7 am and depending on the length of the route can return at 5 pm or later.  We are all tired in the evening.

Since I have many miles ahead of me I am taking a rest day today and doing the laundry.  Tomorrow I expect to do 350 miles and get past Columbus OH.  The weather is expected to be cool leaving here at near 50 degrees.  Hooray for another day like today with the Rally ending after the banquet tonight.

I ended the day with a trip to the top of the mountain!
