The NC Car Ferry ride was a bust last year so off to a new year.

After 4 tries to catch the Elwell Ferry we have given up!  It is unreliable to say the least.  Parkers Creek Ferry we attempted once and we haven't been back.  Guess we will have  to wait for better fall weather.  It has been nothing but rain here in the east and the rivers are high making this more difficult to finish.  Seems these ferries don't run when the water is high or low.  The water level has to be Just Right!  The new name of these last 2 ferries is the Goldie Locks Ferries.

The next post starts the big trip for 2025....Heading West!
