I have revised the route from Montana to include Bear Tooth Pass across Wyoming to Devil's Tower. The other route with Ryan has been set. We will be fishing up at Steamboat Springs then riding into Utah on an all back country route. This map shows the route from Denver west into Wyoming and down through the corner of Utah then back through Steamboat Springs to Denver.
This should be a great route and I have made an extra effort to stay away from interstates and big towns because of 4th of July weekend.
It is time to start packing which will be a challenge due to the probability that I will be spending some time both in the 90's and the 40's so I am taking all the gear. There will be a lot of altitude change and I hope I can adapt to it quickly. The BMW RT is washed, service and waiting for the 40-50 lbs of luggage. I probably shouldn't have washed it because it looks like I will be running through the Cicadas hatch which would be a messy affair!
