NC State Parks - Carolina Beach

Carolina Beach State Park



Not 20 miles from Ft. Fisher is Carolina Beach State Park.  It is a big functioning marina with significant campgrounds throughout the woods.  Both cabins and campsites were packed.  No Vacancy and there wasn't much else to see.  Might be fun in the off season for a camping trip but in the heat of the summer, and today was hot!,  no fun at all.  I am moving along.
