It was a very nice ride up to St. Mary and everything that Pattie brought fit on the bike just fine. The ride was around 160 miles and a very pleasant temperature to ride. We arrived around 12:00 and had lunch at the lodge there while we waited for the tiny house to be cleaned. At around 2:30 they checked us in.
The tiny house was really 2 tiny houses. The main one had a very nice bedroom and kitchenette with a small table. The second one was a short walk away and had a beautiful bathroom. Jacuzzi/ shower and double sinks. It was a bit strange having to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, especially considering this is bear country. But it worked and was the only option I had for lodging at the West Gate. I booked 8 months before and it is very hard to plan that far out.
