Final Prep - WALDO

 I am not prone to naming my motorcycles but for this 2018 Honda Goldwing the name is  WALDO

Sunday morning I depart.  The Garmin tracker will be turned on and the route begins with the first night in Asheville, where I grew up.  I have made a minor modification to my packing, deciding to add a bag on the pillion seat.  This bag will cary my extreme weather gear for Hot, Cold and Wet. I will drop this bag off in Salt Lake at a friends house with the non-essentials to make room for Pattie when I get to Great Falls, MT.  On my return from Portland I will stop and pick it up.

I have adjusted my route from Salt Lake to Great Falls, MT to add in the Chief Joseph Highway and Beartooth Pass.  I will have time to kill on this route so I can fully enjoy it.
