We stayed at the Sleep Inn near the airport and planned to meet a childhood friend and his wife for dinner. Luckily they were available on short notice. I hadn’t seen Mike and Jill since their wedding in Fairview outside Asheville more than 50 years ago. Well they were the same people, very easy to be around and it was a wonderful evening catching up. Wow that’s a lot of years! Great visit and a very good meal at a little Italian restaurant. We were off to bed around 10.
